Handcuffs

The ‘Twin Lock’ range of handcuffs feature key holes on both sides of the handcuffs, making unlocking and removing the handcuffs easier and more importantly, safer. TCH handcuffs also offer larger than standard ring sizes for when handcuffing larger people.

TCH handcuffs are available in chain, rigid, folding, hinged and high security models. A range of pouches are also available for the various models of handcuffs. Full training by certified instructors is also available.

Chain Link Handcuffs

Chain handcuffs are the original style of handcuffs which have been carried by officers the world over for decades.

CERT offers two models of TCH chain link handcuffs, namely the 822 Superior TwinLock and the 922 Lightweight Superior Twinlock.

The only difference between these models is the metal they are constructed from with the 822 being made of nickel steel while the lightweight 922 is made of aluminium.

Rigid Handcuffs

Rigid handcuffs feature a solid handle between the two rings enabling far more effective application of control techniques such as a 'bottle top takedown'.

CERT offers two models of TCH rigid handcuffs being the fixed model 842 rigid Twinlock and the model 852 folding rigid Twinlock.

Hinged handcuffs

Hinged handcuffs feature a mechanical hinge between the two rings. These are a hybrid between chain and rigid handcuffs.

CERT offers two models of TCH hinged handcuffs, namely the 832 Superior Twin Lock and the 932 Lightweight Superior Twinlock.

High Security Handcuffs

TCH Model HSH1 High Security Handcuffs are the most secure model handcuffs available for use on high risk people.
