Reveal’s new ‘D Series’ body worn video cameras represent over a decade worth of research and development and offer the very latest in body worn camera technology.

As with all Reveal cameras, the D Series features a unique front facing screen which has a proven calming effect and plays an active role in de-escalating potentially volatile situations. However, if you decide the screen is not suitable for particular situations, Stealth Mode enables recording without the screen or lights.

The cameras can record in full 1080p HD for an exceptionally clear picture with a smart microphone that automatically adjusts to pick up the clearest sound. The D Series cameras offer incredible low light performance that mirrors the human eye.

The D Series is available in the following models:

· ​D3 - approximately 12 hours battery life and 60 hours record capacity (@480P)
· D5 – as above plus live streaming, in field upload, in field annotations and GPS aware (via app)

With 12 hour battery capacity both models can be effectively operated in 'pre-record mode'. In this mode of operation, the camera is constantly recording but only storing 30 seconds worth of data (it continuously overwrites the data every 30 seconds). When the operator activates the record slider, the camera begins permanently storing the data from a start point 30 seconds prior. This is important for staff who operate in an environment where incidents can develop very quickly and ensures the first few seconds of the incident is captured. ​​

The 64GB data capacity means that if staff do not get an opportunity to download the data from their cameras for a few days, they have a large storage capacity available to them on the camera. ​

The smartphone compatible D5 cameras enables live streaming, GPS awareness, in field annotations and in field uploads.

A key benefit of the Reveal camera solution is the DEMS 360 evidence management system which enables you to decide how you wish to download, store and protect your video evidence. Secure and encrypted, content can be stored locally, on a server or in the cloud, depending on how you want to manage your information.

An annual software support and maintenance fee of $79.95 per camera/ licence applies to DEMS 360 after the first year.
